8westy7 is a 1987 Volkswagen, Vanagon Westfalia Campervan. We call him Hans. 8Westy7 came to us from the great people at TDI Motors in Kirkland Washington. (tdimotors.net) Susan and the staff at TDI Motors know their camper vans. They specialize in the Volkswagen Eurovan and Vanagon Westfalia. After completing the purchase, my son and I flew up to Kirkland WA and drove him back to Southern California. That was an adventure in itself. The 1275 mile road trip throughout the west coast was spectacular. Stops included the Flagship REI store in Seattle. We picked up essentials for camping. We also had a stop at the famous Pikes Place. A late night arrival was made at Voodoo Donuts in Portland Oregon. I had to coffee up for the drive. This road trip was a great test of the vans systems and road worthiness. The vehicle was serviced and tastefully upgraded. We made the trip in two days. Some of the work completed included;
